2006 TOYOTA TACOMA - Reviews, Wallpapers, Photos and Articles

WHAT TOYOTA HAS TO SAY ABOUT THIS CAR:

Source: Toyota Motor Corporation

In your capable hands, the 2006 Tacoma is ready to make an impression on any surface. An available 236-hp V6 can be matched to a rugged 6-speed manual transmission. Throw yourself inside and you'll find the roomiest Tacoma we've ever made, sitting on top of the strongest chassis we've ever forged. And if that wasn’t enough, there are 18 different Tacomas — from the corner-carving X-Runner to the Double Cab Long Bed. The earth is your canvas, the wilderness your sketchbook.

Toyota vehicles are built with popular option combinations. Not all options are available separately and some options and accessories may not be available in all regions of the country. So please contact your Toyota dealer, who can help locate the vehicle that's right for you.

Toyota Tacomas are designed to meet most off-road driving requirements. Abusive use may result in bodily harm or damage. Toyota encourages responsible operation to protect you, your vehicle and the environment.

Some vehicles are shown with available equipment. Seatbelts should be worn at all times. Please do not allow passengers to ride in the cargo area. Towing hitch receivers/ball mount kits are not intended to provide crash protection.

For details on vehicle specifications, standard features and available equipment in your area, contact your Toyota dealer. A vehicle with particular equipment may not be available at the dealership. Ask your Toyota dealer to help locate a specifically equipped vehicle.

OUR TAKE ON THE 2006 TOYOTA TACOMA X RUNNER: The Tacoma X-Runner sits low to the ground (one full inch lower than the standard 2WD Tacoma frame) and features ground effects body paneling around the entire vehicle to give it a low and wide look. In fact, the X-Runner's frame is 4 inches wider and 5 inches longer than the standard frame. This increases the interior dimensions (translation: more than four extra inches of shoulder room) as well as giving the vehicle a more aggressive stance.
