in or out of the Armada. The power rear liftgate automatically opens
and closes with the push of a button. It helps prevent the door from
closing on fingers and surfboards. It also senses if an undue load is
required to close the door and will automatically cancel power operation.
Beautiful, yes. Bold, double yes. Armada is designed like no other full-size SUV. From the aggressive grille that screams "I'm coming at ya" to the bold dip near the rear door, the unique styling will attract attention on city streets and mountain passes alike. In the event you have three or four passengers and a whole lot of luggage, the third row can fold flat to allow for more cargo room in the back. In fact, when you fold the third row flat, the cargo dimensions jump from 20 cu ft to 56 cu ft. It also has a new 60/40 split to provide flexibility for passengers and gear. Keep the whole crew happy with three rows of seating for up to eight people, plenty of room to stretch out, first-class details like available Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control and rear air conditioning, plus the available Nissan DVD Entertainment System and more. Sometimes you have more gear to transport than you do people. With the fold-flat second row, you can stuff more stuff than you ever thought possible. Even if you have the optional second-row captain's chairs with rear center console, the chairs fold flat and the console can be removed to maximize space. In fact, with both second and third rows folded, you've got 97.1 cubic feet of space. The front passenger seat folds down flat, for ultimate versatility. Allowing you to bring the longboards, a kayak, camping gear, a ten-foot ladder, you name it. It's always good to hide your valuable belongings, when possible. The large lockable center console is deep enough to store a laptop or hanging file folders, and features a power outlet for quick and easy charging. The chances of your cargo moving around is greatly diminished with the help of the six strategically placed hooks. Each one is reinforced for improved strength and durability. While you probably want to show off your new surfboard, some stuff isn't so cool to look at. Conceal your jumper cables, flashlight, bungee cords and extra maps in the convenient under-floor cargo area. Keep the whole crew
happy with three rows of seating for up to eight people, plenty of room

better than a cool, air-conditioned ride home. Armada has rear air conditioning
controls, and conveniently located vents, so that passengers in the

Nissan DVD Entertainment System's seven-inch flip-down color monitor.
It features auxiliary inputs perfect for video game systems or to relive
your day's adventure on the camcorder. Never miss a beat with the available
premium digital Bose® audio system that is custom-tuned for Armada's
cabin with ten strategically placed speakers. It has a single-slot 6-CD
auto-changer with MP3 CD-ROM capability that has the ability to play
up to 4.2 gigs of music — which is over a thousand songs. There
is also an auxiliary input for MP3 players. Dual Media Playback
lets front and rear passengers listen to separate audio sources at the
same time. So, while the kids are listening to the radio with wireless
headsets (included with Nissan DVD Entertainment System), you can enjoy
your own CD up front. With the available DVD-based Nissan Navigation
System, pick a remote spot and let Voice Guidance direct you there.
A color monitor displays your current location either on a conventional
map or through the patented three-dimensional Birdview™. Once back
in civilization, the Nissan Navigation System can direct you to the
nearest ATM, gas station or restaurant. Suddenly, calling "shotgun"
isn't such a novel idea. In the Armada, it's the third row that can
be just as much of a draw. The third row's stadium seating is great
if you want to get a better view of the road ahead, or get into the
action that's going on up front. And with second-row tumble seats, you
can get back there with ease. To help prevent
squeaks and rattles, Armada has a full-length body-on-frame design using
laser welding and structural bonding for high torsional rigidity. To
help ensure a smooth and comfortable ride with less unwanted noise.
It also has a long wheelbase and a wide track for an improved stance
and more stable handling and cornering. To improve the quality of your
ride, Armada has an independent rear suspension, so each wheel responds
on its own to bumps, without transferring the shock to the opposite
rear wheel. Furthermore, to reduce friction, help smooth out the ride,
and improve response, we separated Armada's springs from its shock absorbers.
No matter what you're hauling behind you — a boat, jet skis, snowmobiles,
quads — the available auto-leveling rear suspension automatically
compensates for the extra weight, providing a level ride height and
consistent ground clearance.
