2008 AUDI A5 - Photos, Wallpapers, Reviews, Specs and Articles WHAT AUDI HAS TO SAY ABOUT THIS CAR: No Press Release for the Audi A5 is currently availible from Audi Motors. OUR TAKE ON THE 2008 Audi A5: Rumors are abound of the upcoming sport coupe from Audi known as the A5. Similar to the Audi Nuvolari, the A5 is built to fit in between the Audi A4 and A6 models as well as compete with the Mercedes Benz CLK class and the BMW 6 Series sport coupes. It has also been rumoured that the new A5 will debut in March at the Frankfurt autoshow and be released in early 2007 as a 2008 model. Other sources tell us that the Audi A5 will be availible in a convertible version as depicted in the photos above. The cabriolet will succeed the current A4 convertible. The A5 will likely be availible in both V6 and V8 versions found on its sibling the A6 sedan and wagon. Additionally we are likely to see a spec'd out version of the A5 known as the RS5, complete with an ultra powerful 420 horsepower engine.
